Shock Pad for Sports Artificial Grass

1. PREPARATION WORK
1.Equipment needed
Hot air gun, Tape, Snap line, Rule, Knife, Electric power (wire should be long
enough), Material to press Shock pad (such as Sand bag, Glue barrel, Bricks,
etc.)
2. Installation Person (7-8 persons needed)
2 persons roll out the Shock pads;
2 persons press the rolls and control the moving direction;
1 person fills the sacks with sand
1 person adjust the roll position
1-2 persons glue the rolls
3. Preparation work
 Make sure the sub-base meet the requirements of installation.
 The sub-base must be flat. If the surface is not flat, please fill the uneven
place.
 The sub-base must be free from dirt or anything else on its surface.
 Lay the Shock pad rolls to the right place based on the field size and roll
length.
 Set base line. Set a straight line, it should be the field mid-line or the
edge line (make sure it’s straight.)

2.INSTALLATION
Step 1. Roll out the first roll according to the field draw. The first roll must
align with the base line. Or please move gently from one direction. Press the
first Shock pad with heavy stuff after adjustment. Allowing at least 30cm over
at each end. It’s very important to keep the first roll in line.


Step 2. Lay down the second roll next to the first one, and adjust position
either when rolling or afterwards.


Step 3. Weld the Shock pad with our special welding machine (Hot air gun).
No pulls during welding. It is suggested to continue this step at a temperature
below 30℃.



Step 4. Roll out Grass carpets. Please roll out 1 roll of Grass carpet every 3
rolls of Shock pads have been laid.

Please keep Shock pad away from glue when cutting and jointing the Grass
carpets. Joint tape must be used.

Step 6. Neatly cut exceed parts of Shock pad from each end after completing
Grass installation. Glue Shock pad ends to the ground point by point. (No
need to glue the full edges).

1. The material must be at normal temperature (below 30℃) before
installation.
2. Installation conditions: natural environment. Please stop Installation in
Windy condition. (Moderate breeze or stronger wind)
3. If there’s any damage during Installation, please cut that part neatly and
replace with spare material.
4. Our Shock pad is light in weight, sometimes the surface looks not flat due
to the vapor caused by temperature difference during the day. This is
normal, and will disappear after the Grass carpet and sand infill are placed.
